Micro-finance Projects
A micro-finance project should enable locals to grow vegetables on an organic farm or to buy animals like buffalos, cows or goats or any kind of small business to generate income. We have given a micro finance loan to a woman who fell down and was seriously injured. After treatment, she was feeling better but couldn’t work on the farm or do any kind of hard work. She started her own small tailoring business in the village. We gave her the microloan for this business.
For farmers, training is scheduled in May 2012 to explain how to grow their vegetables without buying chemical fertilizer and convince them to use their own organic fertilizer from cow dung.
Tukee Nepal Society is looking for people who provide micro-finance loans for villagers who would like to start their own business.
